RECOMMENDATION:
ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20616 to add one Mental Health Program Manager(VQDC)
position in the Health Services Department/Mental Health Division.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Annual cost of$145,960.is funded 100% by Proposition 63, Mental Health Services Act funds.
BACKGROUND:
The position is needed to oversee the planning and implementation of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA).
The Mental Health Program Manager will be responsible for following MHSA regulations to ensure public input
and community collaboration into the program,planning, development and report process. The position has
been included in the program planning for implementation of the Mental Health Services Act and is fully funded
from Proposition 63 funds.
