The cost of the Health Services Systems Coordinator position will be offset by the cancellation of the Administrative Services Assistant
III position,with a cost savings of approximately$18,471 per year. The position is funded by 100% Enterprise I funds.

BACKGROUND:
The Administrative Services Assistant III, position #13248 was recently vacated. In reviewing the organizational needs of the
Ambulatory Care Division/Appointment unit, the department determined that canceling and adding the above-mentioned positions
would best service the unit's needs at this time. The.added Health Services Appointment Systems Coordinator will report to the
Ambulatory Care Division Administrator and will be responsible for managing the Epic Automated Appointment Scheduling systems, of
clinic schedules, and generating daily patient rosters for physicians.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the Ambulatory Care Division/Appointment Unit will not have the appropriate support staff needed for
operational purposes.
