RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20511, to add one (1) permanent f0-time Senior Building Plan Checker(FRTA)
[Represented] position at salary level QS5 1479 ($4,530-$5,506) as recommended by the Assistant County Administrator-Human
Resources Director
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of$66,082 and will be fully funded by permit fees. This action will result in no net
County cost
BACKGROUND:
The Building Inspection Department is requesting the addition of this position to meet current staffing needs. The position will be
responsible for performing plan check duties and provide lead direction to subordinate staff in the City of Orinda office.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the Department will not be able be able to effectively manage the services provided by the City of
Orinda office. _
