(District V) Project No. 4500-6X5489 SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDED ACTION: ADOPT Resolution No. 2008/ ;�& accepting as complete the contracted work performed by Asbestos Management Group of CA,Inc., for Phase 4 of the Orbisonia Heights Redevelopment Project,as recommended by the Public Works Director, Bay Point area. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. This project is fully funded by the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of October 24,2008, for 550, 570,660 South Broadway Avenue and 495 Wollam Avenue in Bay Point. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not berecor ed. (District V)Project No.4500-6X5489 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that: The County of Contra Costa on October 13,2008 issued a Notice to Proceed with Asbestos Management Group of CA, Inc., for the Orbisonia Heights Redevelopment Project for Phase 4 abatement, with a cash bond as surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency; and The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved special provisions and specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of October 24, 2008. Therefore,said work is ACCEPTED as complete on said date, and the Clerk shall file with the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said contract. I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of LD:sr Supervisors on the date shown.
