(Budgeted, 100% State funds) (All Districts) FISCAL IMPACT: Funding currently reflected in the Department's FY 2007-0ybud t and in the FY 2008- 09 budget. No County costs. This outcome is achieved by providing safer and more energy-efficient homes to low-income children and their families. BACKGROUND:. On February 26, 2008 the Board of Supervisors accepted funding from California Department of Community Services and Development to operate a weatherization and energy assistance program via the Employment & Human Services and Building Inspection Departments. The Board approved an amendment to increase the payment limit by $2,531 on October 7, 2008. This board order is to approve a second amendment to increase the payment limit an additional $41,043 and to extend the original term end date of December 31, 2008 to a new term end date of March 31, 2009.
