SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution Number 2008/ 73 ,`to establish the classification of Public Authority Account Clerk Supervisor
(Unrepresented,81H5)and allocate on the salary schedule 815-1338 at salary level ($4,016 45,129), and cancel one(1) Registry
Specialist(Unrepresented,81H3)as recommended by the Interim Director of Human Resources.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost for this action is$66.00 for fiscal year 2008.
BACKGROUND:
HR staff has conducted a desk audit of the duties and determined that the incumbent is performing duties indicative of the Merit
System Account Clerk Supervisor classification and recommends a reclassification. This classification reports directly to the In-Home
Public Authority Support Services Executive Director.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the incumbent will continue to perform duties outside her classification and will not be appropriately
compensated.

BACKGROUND CONTINUED:
The incumbent directs and supervises the day-to-day operations of the clerical staff at the Public Authority. This staff is responsible for
the accurate input into the CMIPS system demographics data and other information regarding the hiring and termination of providers in
the In-Home Supportive Services program.Action effective 1/1/2009.
