The SBDC will provide individual business consulting, training, information and referral, outreach and marketing services on the formation, management, financing, and operation of small business enterprises to existing and potential small businesses countrywide. Additionally, the SBDC will foster relationships with entities representing special emphasis groups to increase the number of clients served in those populations. The Small Business Development Center will maintain cooperative agreements with other service providers (e.g., colleges, universities, economic development corporation, local government agencies) to increase the small businesses sector's contribution to the economic development in Contra Costa County. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT This contract supports one of the community outcomes established in the Children's Report Card: 3) "Families that are economically self-sufficient," by providing services to small business that enhance business activity and hence economic growth. 29-226-3
