SUBJECT: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or designee, to execute hangar rental
agreements with Buchanan Field Airport Hangar tenants.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or designee, to execute hangar rental agreements for
Shade-hangars in the form approved by the Board of Supervisors at Buchanan Field Airport with Jordan Rose,
Madeline Ferguson, Bard Lewis, Allan Drabinsky, Carl Birkhofer, Mike Grimes, Orinda Aero, Jeff Lee,
Michael Sullivan, Etienne Oleksiewicz, James Duvall, Daryl Mc Cosker, Allen Pierce, Richard Konlon, Joseph
Smith, Rod Powers, effective February 1, 2007 in the monthly amount of$155.00 per hangar, Pacheco area.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The Airport Enterprise Fund will realize $1,860.00 annually per hangar.

agreements with Buchanan Field Airport hangar tenants.

REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
On November 14, 2006, Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors approved the new Shade-Hangar Rental
Agreement for use with the East Ramp Hangar tenants. Airport staff is moving forward in executing the new
agreement with the existing 87 tenants and future hangar tenants. This applies to tenants in Row B. Rows A,C,D
and E are T-Hangars and have a different rent structure.
CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
A delay in this action will cause a loss of revenue to the Airport Enterprise Fund.
