These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low-income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: On September 12, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved agreement 39-811-26 / CPRE 6029 with the Contra Costa College District for state preschool program services to be provided by the Community Services Bureau of the Employment& Human Services Department. The proposed agreement amendment (1)will add $61,540 for a new total payment limit of$1,101,065 due to a daily maximum reimbursable rate change from $18.45 to a new rate of$19.54 per child. The State, and in turn the College District, routinely adds dollars to child development contracts after initial execution, prior to the close of the fiscal year.
