(No County Match) (District II) FISCAL IMPACT: This agreement accepts funds from Shell Oil. Funds will be added to the department's FY 2006- 07 budget. These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low-income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: Shell Oil has a recycling program which regularly donates funds to local causes. This fiscal year, Shell selected the Martinez Head Start program as the recipient of $1,567.32 for program enhancement of its childcare programs. Funds will be used to purchase needed classroom materials and educational supplies to support the delivery of program services to children and families by June 30, 2007.
