FISCAL IMPACT: The total annual cost associated with this action is approximately $132,214 and 100% funded by the Department of Health Services. BACKGROUND: This action is being requested by the Sheriff-Coroner to provide an increase level of police services to the Department of Health Services. Health Services contracts for police services with the Office of the Sheriff. The requested position will provide security to the Richmond clinic. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Insufficient police services would impact the safety and welfare of the Department of Health Services.
