(Unrepresented) FISCAL IMPACT: This action will result in a one time net cost of $22,500 in FY 2006/07. There will be no ongoing additional cost associated with this actil n. The additional cost is 100% funded through plan check fees. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting these actions to provide cross training for the person who will be replacing the current Executive Secretary-Exempt. This additional Executive Secretary-Exempt position will be used for a limited period of time to allow for training of the new Executive Secretary-Exempt before assuming the duties of the current Executive Secretary-Exempt due to retirement. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The consequence of negative action will result in the inability of the Department to cross train before the retirement of the current Executive Secretary-Exempt.
