(Represented) FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $132,480.00. This position is funded through State and Federal revenues. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting this due to an increase in the current span of control for the current Adoption Children's Unit Supervisor. The additional position will help alleviate the current workload of the supervisor. The current supervisor has thirteen Social Casework Specialists reporting to them now. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If the Department is unable to add this position, they will have insufficient supervisory staff in adoptions.
