RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20156, reclassifying Social Service
Program Analyst (X4SH) position #5041 ($5,219.64-$6,344.50) to Senior Social Service
Information Systems Analyst (XQVC) ($6,331 .29-$6,980.25) (Represented).
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $12,588. This position is 100% funded by
federal and state revenues.
BACKGROUND:
After HR staff reviewed the classification description questionnaire, application and
conducted a desk audit, it was determined that the job duties being performed by the
incumbent are appropriate for reclassification to 'Senior Social Service Information
Systems Analyst.
The incumbent's primary duties : involves analyzing and completing studies for the
department's data processing systems, recommending enhancements to existing
systems, and designing new systems for department programs.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The consequence of negative action will result in the inability of the Department to
correctly compensate the incumbent.
