SUBJECT: HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION ACTIVITIES
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller's Office to allow the Human Relations Commission to receive
donations and pay expenses associated with its ongoing operations in the amount of$3,900.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No Fiscal Impact. Expenditures by the Commission are paid from donations and event revenues
BACKGROUND:
The Human Relations Commission, a special Commission to the Board of Supervisors, solicits do-
nations and receives event revenues to support its activities and operations. Revenues can fluctu-
ate from year to year. Expenditures will be adjusted to ensure that they are within revenues and
there is no net County cost.
The Human Relations Commission is submitting its budget spanning the period November 2006
through June 2007.
