These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low- income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: On September 12, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved agreement CCTR 6040 with the California Department of Education for general childcare and development programs to be provided by Contra Costa County Community Services Department. The proposed agreement amendment (1) will add $598,805 for a new total payment limit of$6,923,105 due to a daily maximum reimbursable rate change from $30.04 to a new rate of$32.89 per child. The State routinely adds dollars to child development contracts after initial execution, prior to the close of the fiscal year.
