FISCAL IMPACT: $50,130: 50% Metropolitan Transportation Grant Funds; 50% CalWORKS (15% County, 85% State) Funds CONTINUED ON ATTACHMENT: YES SIGNATURE. BACKGROUND: The Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) created the Keeping Employment Equals Your Success (KEYS) Auto Loan Program for CaIWORKs participants who need a personal automobile to complete their transition to self- sufficiency and to support the Contra Costa County Welfare to Work Transportation Action Plan. The KEYS Auto Loan Program targets CaIWORKs participants and in coordination with Contra Costa Federal Credit Union, for auto loan funding, Contractor will provide vehicle storage, vehicle maintenance, and processing of sales documents for vehicles selected by KEYS participants. This contract amendment will enable contractor to continue providing vehicle maintenance and sales of vehicles to KEYS Auto Loan Program participants with no change in payment limit. Funds allocated for the program under last year's contract remain unspent. (19-054-1)
