SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
ADD one (1) full-time Sheriff's Mutual Aid Coordinator (64SK)position (un-represented
management).
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total annual cost associated with this action is approximately $92,053 and 100% funded by General
Fund monies, which will be offset by the elimination of a contractor.
BACKGROUND:
This action is being requested by the Sheriff-Coroner to provide additional support to the Emergency
Services Division, Homeland Security Unit. The requested position will provide law enforcement
emergency planning and serve as a liaison with other governmental agencies involved in the planning
of law enforcement emergency response.
CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Failure to approve this action will result in insufficient law enforcement emergency services for the
welfare of the community.
