SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or designee, to execute hangar rental agreements for T- hangars at Buchanan Field Airport with Thomas Pinckard, Scott Newman,Blackie Burack,Robert Hawkins,Keith Martz, Lawrence Welter, Lindsey Whiteway, Lloyd Savate, Rory Elston, and Kent Ipsen, effective February 16, 2007, in the monthly amount of$345.00 per hangar, Pacheco area. (District IV) FISCAL IMPACT: The Airport Enterprise Fund will realize $4140.00 annually per hangar. DATE: February 27, 2007 PAGE: 2 of 2 REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: As of February 16,2007,the ground lease with Buchanan Hangar Company expired.As a result of the expired lease, Contra Costa County became the owner of Row F, T-Hangars and Large Aircraft Hangars. The new lease agreement will allow existing Hangar tenants to remain a tenant, with Contra Costa County as the landlord.
