(Budgeted, 100% Federal/State funds) (All Districts) FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of this contract is funded by the department's Head Start and Early Head Start grants as well as the department's Child Development funds. The cost of this contract is included in the Employment& Human Services Department's FY 2006-07 budget. There is no net County cost to this contract. These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low- income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: The proposed contract with Teri Mahan is to provide training and technical assistance in.classroom evaluations, file reviews, and action plan development in preparation for upcoming Federal and State reviews of Bureau programs. Approval of the contract will assist the Department and Bureau to meet Head Start and State standards and regulations.
