SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with Multi-Lingual Consulting, Inc., effective October.1, 2007, to increase the payment limit by $50,000 to a new payment limit of$100,000 with no change in the term of March 1, 2006 through March 31, 2008, to provide additional court ordered Mental Health Services not anticipated in the original contract. BACKGROUND: Mental health services are often ordered by the Court for Children and Families Services (CFS) clients who do not qualify for Medi-Cal Services. This contractor currently provides mental health services to other CFS clients. The Department wishes to amend the current contract to allow the contractor to provide court ordered mental health services which were not included in the original contract. (19-270-2)
