RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution #20461 to add one (1) 40/401-ibrary Assistant- Journey Level (3KVB-
represented).
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Library Department has estimated an annual cost of$61,333.00.
BACKGROUND:
The addition of the 40/40 Library Assistant-Journey Level position will allow the Acquisitions and Order Unit to
incorporate new technologies into the services of the library, manage the increased volume of use resulting
from these technologies and improve fiscal accountability.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Should this request not be granted, the need for the coverage of this new expansion will not be adequate.
