FISCAL IMPACT: The Library Department has estimated an annual cost of$72,491.00. BACKGROUND: The Library will soon become a member of the Link+ network. Link+ is a consortium of 47 academic and public libraries, predominately located in California, sharing a single catalog. This position will serve as the primary administrator of the library's participation in Link+, supervise lending and borrowing services and provide oversight of the library's participation in statewide resources sharing programs. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved appropriate coverage for this program will not exist.
