The Trade Contractors are listed on Attachment "A". FINANCIAL IMPACT There is no impact to the General Fund with the adoption of the Resolutions of Acceptance and Notices of Completion. BACKGROUND The "Construction Manager At-Risk" ("CM At-Risk") project delivery method was utilized on the project. With the CM At-Risk project delivery method, numerous trade .scopes of work were developed, bid, and contracted out. Twenty-one (21) individual trade contracts were entered into for the Public Works Expansion Project. The trade contractors were contracted directly to the County. The various trade contractors were managed by a construction manager who is under a separate contract to the County. The project is the first County project to utilize the CM At-Risk project delivery method. The building occupants, including the daycare staff and children, were able to move in approximately a month ahead of schedule. In addition, the project was completed below budget. The project has been completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and it is recommended that the project be accepted. The building occupants, including the daycare staff and children, were able to move in approximately a month ahead of schedule. In addition, the project was completed below budget. The project has been completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and it is recommended that the project be accepted. Twenty-one (21) individual trade contracts were entered into for the Public Works Expansion Project. The trade contractors were contracted directly to the County. The various trade contractors were managed by a construction manager who is under a separate contract to the County. The project is the first County project to utilize the CM At-Risk project delivery method. The building occupants, including the daycare staff and children, were able. to move in approximately a month ahead of schedule. 'In addition, the project was completed below budget. The project has been completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and it is recommended that the project be accepted. The amount of $28,144 will be withheld pending the correction and completion of punchlist items by the pertinent trade contractors (See Attachment "B").
