REcoNINIENDATIO\(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand) to execute on behalf of the Count•, Novation Contract X24-893-10 with Lincoln Child Center, a non-profit � corporation, in an amount not to exceed 5433,620, to provide day treatment services for Seriously � Emotionally-Disturbed (SED) youth for the period from Julv 1. 2006 through June 30. 2007. This Contract includes a six-month automatic extension through December 31. 2007. in an amount not to exceed 5216.810. v FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 35% by Federal Medi-Cal. 30% by Individuals with Disabilities Education act (IDE: SB 90). 31% be State Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT), and 2% Mental Health Realignment. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATENIE\T: This SB 90 program supports the following Board of Supervisors community outcomes: "Children read• for and succeeding in school': "Families that are safe. stable. nurturing-'; and "Communities that are safe and provide a high quality of life for children and families". The expected outcomes include all goals identified by Children's Statewide System of Care guidelines including increasing and maintaining school attendance as measured be school records; an increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (C AFAS); an increase in family satisfaction - as measured by the Parent Satisfaction Survey; decreased used of acute care system.- and placement at discharge to a i lower level of care. On Januar- 17, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved 'Novation Contract <24-893-9 with Lincoln Child Center. Inc., for the period from July- 1. 2005 through June 30, 2006, (w'hich included a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2006) for the prov=ision of dad- treatment services for an SED youth. Approval of Novation Contract =24-893-10 replaces the automatic extension under the prior i Contract and allows the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 2007. I i I I i I
