I I I I I BACKGROUND:, I I I This Resolution would authorize employees in the job' classifications listed in Appendix A to the attached Resolution, hired before January 1, 2006, who �re in paid status, in permanent or temporary positions as, of November 1, 2006, receive a one-time payment of $1,500.00. Employees in permanent part-time, permanent-intermittent, or temporary positions shall receive the one-time payment of $1,500.00 on a prorated basis. The one-time payment shall be subject to all of the usual tax withholding and retirement deductions and shall be paid on the December 10, 2006 pay warrant. I - Consistent with the agreement reached with the Coalition, the lump sum payment is provided only to those management and unrepresented employees who did not receive a wage increase during Fiscal Year 2005/2006. RESOLUTION NO. 2006/4= i It is RESOLVED THAT: I� Employees in the job classifications listed in Appendix A, hired before January 1, 2006, who are in paid status, in permanent or temporary positions as of November 1, 2006, shall receive a one-time payment of$1,500. Employees in permanent part-time, permanent-intermittent, or temporary positions shall receive the one time payment of $1,500[on a prorated basis. The one-time payment shall be subject to the usual tax withholding and retirement deductions and shall be made on the December 10, 2006 pay warrant. For permanent part-time, permanent intermittent, and temporary employees, the payment shall be pro-rated by multiplying each hour reported during July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 by $.72, rounded to the nearest dollar, with a minimum payment of$50.' The provisions of this Resolution shall apply only to the job classifications listed in Appendix A and to such other classes in existence as of November 1, 2006 that may have been inadvertently omitted from Appendix A.
