RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20161, canceling one (1) permanent full-time Clerk-
Experienced Level (JWXB) position #5055 (Represented) and adding one (1) Information Systems
Specialist I (LTWA) position (Represented).

FISCAL IMPACT:
I
Upon approval, these actions will result in an annual cost of $24,480.00. These positions are 100%
funded by federal and state revenues.
I
BACKGROUND:
The Department is requesting these actions due to continued growth of the automated systems at
EHSD Aging and Adult Bureau. The newly added Information Systems Specialist I position will
provide a hiIgh level of technical support to current and future automated programs.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
I
If this request is not approved, the Department will not have staff to effectively provide technical
support to several automated systems in the Aging and Adult Bureau.
