RECOMMENDATION :' Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution #20114 transferring one Registered
Nurse Advanced Level — project position into the merit system.

BACKGROUND: In August 2005, the incumbent ofAhe project position took a leave of absence
from the merit system and was appointed to the Registered Nurse Advanced Level— Project position
as part of a rehab agreement. At the time, this was the only nursing position that the Mental Health
Division had available. The need for the position continues and the funding is stable so Health
Services Is requesting that the position be transferred into the merit system. The employee meets all
of the requirements set forth in the Personnel Management Regulations to transfer into the merit
system.
