Y Director of Human Resources • •� Countysq.�o�n DATE: November 14, 2006 SUBJECT: P300 #20170-Assessor's-Office .., ., .- SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUISTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20170, canceling one (1) permanent full-time Supervising Appraiser (DAHC) position #340 (Unrepresented) and adding one (1) permanent full-time Supervising Auditor-Appraiser (DRNA) position (Unrepresented). FISCAL IMPACT: There is no additional cost associated with this request. Funding will come from the cancellation of the budgeted Supervising Appraiser position. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting these changes to assign a Supervising Auditor-Appraiser position to the Business Division of the Assessor's Office. The position will be responsible for the valuation of complex business properties including refineries and heavy industrial properties. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: I If this request is not approved, the Department will have insufficient staff to effectively provide services to complex'business properties.
