RE-APPOINT the following individuals to the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District
Board of Directors to two-year terms ending November 30, 2008:

BACKGROUND:
In October, the County was contacted by the CCROD requesting the Board of Supervisors
to make appointments to fill two Board of Directors seats whose terms of office are due to
expire on November 30, 2006. This request was made pursuant to a 1998 CCRCD
resolution ordering that all future directors shall be;appointed by the County Board of
Supervisors in lieu of election (Public Resources Code Section 9314). If the Board of
Supervisors fails to make the appointments within 60 days after the expiration of the terms,
or by approximately January 29, 2007, then the District Board of Directors may make the
appointments.
