(Represented) FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $102,000.00. This position is 100% funded through plan checker fees. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting this action in order to staff the City of Orinda Building Inspection Office scheduled to begin operation starting January 2007. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The consequence of negative action will result in Department's inability to provide Building Inspection services in the City of Orinda.
