(Unrepresented) FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $128,000.00. This position is 100% funded through plan check fees. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting this action due to the continued demand for plan review services. The Department currently has a contract engineer on staff. The addition of this position will enable the Department to reduce or eliminate its reliance on contract engineers.
