FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $238,000.00. This position is 100% funded through permit fees. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting these actions to address the needed demand for information services at the Department's Call Center. The Clerk-Experienced Level positions will replace two of the five temporary clerical staff. The Clerk-Specialist Level position is a reinstatement of a position that had existed two years ago. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The consequence of negative action will result in Department's inability to provide efficient and effective information services at the C I Center.
