FISCAL IMPACT: There is no cost associated with this action. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting this action as part of an agreement after the new classification of Principal Structural Engineer was created. The Department had committed itself to eliminating three Senior Structural Engineer positions once the positions were vacated. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The consequence of negative action will result in the violation of an agreement between Human Resources and Building Inspectio o eliminate the posi 'ons.
