FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. No General Fund revenues are involved. Incidental costs for filing the application are covered by Agency administrative revenues. Fernandez By: ty I I i October 10. 2006 Applications for County Portion of the TLC Program Page 2 I BACKGROUND: I The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency recently applied to Metropolitan Transportation Commission's TLC program for funding of three projects. These projects j included the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing of Treat Blvd. in the Pleasant Hill BART/Contra Costa Centre area, Montalvin Manor Pedestrian Improvement Project in West County, and Bailey Road Streetscape Improvements in the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station Area. These projects were not awarded through the program: however they are eligible for the funding through the County Portion of the TLC Program. Contra Costa County will have almost $4.91 million to allocate for the program. Application limits are set between $300,000 and $1;000,000, with a required local match of at least 11.5 percent for each i project.
