Rose Seats 2125 Shadow Lake Place Martinez, CA 94553 BACKGROUND: The Human Relations Commission was established in September 1986 to foster peaceful relations in the interest of preserving the public peace among citizens of different races, religions and national origins; and to promote positive human relationship for the purpose of insuring public peace, health, safety and the general welfare. The Commission consists of 18 members and one alternate. The Internal Operations Committee reviews nominations to all seats on the Commission. The Internal Operations Committee, at its October 2, 2006 meeting, approved the nomination for appointment.
