The cost will be offset by the hours previously paid as straight overtime for the additional hours worked over the current position hours. Level The hours of these positions are being increased in accordance with the agreement between the County and the California Nurses Association. The agreement states the employee wishing to increase their hours submit a request to the department. The request will be evaluated on the basis of actual hours worked by the employee over the past six months and the anticipated need for the assignment on an increased basis. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Should this request not be granted, the Health Services Department will continue to use temporary positions at the Behavioral Health Center.
