FISCAL IMPACT No impact to General Fund. This data includes building plans, permit history, structural calculations, inspector notes, soils reports, etc. Property owners rely on this data to determine compliance with building codes and the relative safety of structures. Various professionals including real estate agents, lenders, insurance companies, etc. also utilize the Department's data to estimate the value of properties. The Department is proud to be able to provide this service. In order to be able to deliver this valuable service, the Department needs to scan certain documents and subsequently perform quality assurance testing to ensure that the data is relevant and easily retrievable. The Department has contracted with Azizullah Hasani for the provision of these services. Mr. Hasani has the necessary expertise and experience to perform these functions. This authorization will increase the amount by $50,000 to a new. contract limit of $74,500 at the rate of $22 per hour. The contract term is also being amended from the original June 1, 2005 through May 31 , 2006 to a new term of March 1 , 2006 through May 31 , 2007. File Name Board Date Page 2 of 2
