The robust construction in the unincorporated areas continues unabated despite fluctuations in the interest rate. Major developers and owners of existing homes continue to enhance their properties. The Department's Contract Cities continue to experience similarly strong demand for services. The Department has therefore entered into contracts with four qualified building inspectors for the provision of professional inspection services. Steve Pouliot is one of the professionals that the Department has been relying on to respond to the demand for inspection services. The contract amount will increase the amount by $50,000 to a new contract limit of $74,500 at the rate of$32 per hour. The contract term is also being amended from the original April 1 , 2005 through March 31, 2006 to a new term of March 1 , 2006 through March 31 , 2007. Inspector—Pouliot February 28,2006 Page 2 of 2
