(Developer Fees) (District III) Project No. varies DATE: February 28, 2006 PAGE: 2 of 2 REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: RBF Consulting is currently providing Dougherty Valley Specialized Drainage Review Services for the Public Works Department. Due to the large number of drainage projects associated with the Dougherty Valley Development and the unique features of the drainage improvements,professional drainage consultant services are needed. RBF Consulting is contracted to plan check, analyze, and inspect drainage related issues and facilities within Dougherty Valley. _CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If the contract amendment with RBF Consulting is not approved,various drainage related projects within Dougherty Valley may not be completed in a timely manner.
