FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. This project is fully funded by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. Contract Amendment Project No. 4660-6X4152 DATE: February 14, 2006 PAGE: 2 of 2 REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: On August 5, 2003, the Board of Supervisors declared an emergency and authorized the Public Works Director to proceed in the most expeditious manner to construct the Asbury Graphite Wastewater System. Environmental Engineering Associates, Inc. is assisting Public Works with producing and completing the Operations and Maintenance manual for the completed system and to pay for post construction services,including but not limited to maintenance and engineering support of the system,monitoring and engineering support to County Counsel during the transfer. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Non-concurrence of the above recommendation will delay the completion of the Maintenance and Operation Manual.
