SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND]USTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION(S):
Correct the Board Order which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on September 19,
2006, (C.53) with Antioch Unified School District, to reflect the intent of the parties in which the
Payment Limit should read an amount not to exceed $6,500, instead of $3,500, for the Public
Health Clinic Services Scoliosis Screening Project for 7th and 8th grade students, for the period
from September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2007.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Interagency Agreement will allow Antioch School District to pay County $4.00
per student to support the Public Health Clinic Services Scoliosis Screening Project. No County
funds are required.
BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S):
On September 19, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #28-697-4 with Antioch
Unified School District, for the period from September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2007, for the
provision of providing Scoliosis Screening for 7th and 8th grade students.
The purpose of this Board Order is to correct the Payment Limit from $3,500 to $6,500, to reflect
the intent of the parties and allow Antioch Unified School District to continue paying the County
for Public Health clinics scoliosis-screening services through August 31, 2007.
