and the Office for Consumer Empowerment.
The Mental Health Community Support Worker II classification will be utilized in three separate programs; team
leader duties will be added to the job classification; and positions will be flagged to identify program areas in
the event of staff reductions, incumbents' should only be able to displace other Mental Health Community
Support Worker II assigned to their area of the system.
Incumbents in the classification of Mental Health Community Support Worker II designated positions will be
awarded a 5% differential for team leader assignments consisting of arranging day-to-day staff work schedules
for the unit, including relief coverage; training new Mental Health Community Support Worker I staff; attending
meetings with clinical staff and consumers to provide support and advocacy and attending policy and/or
decision-making meetings to represent the consumer perspective.
