SUBJECT: Accepting and Giving Notice of Completion of Contract for The 2006 Bay Point
Overlay Project. Bay Point area. (Districts'V) Project No. 0662-6R4096-06
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
ADOPT Resolution No. 2006/** accepting as complete the contracted work performed by MCK
Services, Inc., for the 2006 Bay Point Overlay Project, as recommended by the Public Works
Director, Bay Point area. (Lawsuit Settlement 100%) (Distric*V).
FISCAL IMPACT:
Project was funded by 100% Lawsuit Settlement funds.
REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved
plans,special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as
of October 6, 2006.
CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not berecorded.

SUBJECT: In the Matter of Accepting and Giving Notice of Completion of Contract for
The Bay Point Overlay Project. Bay Point area. (Districts V) Project No. 0662-
6R4096-06
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that:
The County of Contra Costa on May 17, 2006 contracted with MCK Services, Inc. for keycutting
existing pavement,placing pavement reinforcing fabric,asphalt concrete overlay,adjusting utilities
to finish grade, and replacing existing striping and pavement marking in the Bay Point area, with
Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland as surety,for work to be performed on the grounds of the
County; and
The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved
plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as
of October 6, 2006
Therefore, said work is ACCEPTED as complete on said date, and the Clerk shall file with the
County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said contract.
