Due to Supervisor DeSaulnier's recent departure from the Board of Supervisors, the Internal Operations Committee (IOC) did not have a quorum at its regularly scheduled meeting on December 4. In the interest of maintaining maximum participation on County boards and commissions, I have reviewed the background materials normally provided to the IOC. Two applications were received for this seat and on the basis of the applications, I am recommending the appointment of Mr. Hudson to fill the current vacancy.
