BACKGROUND: f I MV Transportation, Inc. provides transportation service countywide for the Employment and Human Services Department. This service, Children Transportation Project (CTP), provides transportation to CaIWORKs participants and their children. Additionally, i Contractor will provide back-up transportation services to support the Rides To Success Program (RTS). RTS is a program that provides same-day employment related transportation for eligible and enrolled CaIWORKs participants. CTP delivers door-to- door transportation to and from daycare and school for the infant to high school aged children of CaIWORKs participants. The purpose of the two transportation programs is i to assist CaIWORKs participants and their children to achieve self-sufficiency by removing barriers to employment, job retention, and to achieve independence from the foster care system.
