November 15, 2005 �- COUNTY SUBJECT: PS300#19994 SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)8 BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 19994 to CANCEL one Budget Technician position (#11438) and ADD one Administrative Analyst position in the County Administrator's office. FISCAL IMPACT: There is a cost savings associated with this action. BACKGROUND: The County Administrator's Office will, on December 1, 2005, have a vacant Budget Technician position in its Administrative Division. The office wishes to cancel this position and replace it with a new position of approximately equal salary, but whose classification is better suited to the daily tasks and responsibilities required for the specific job assignment. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Failure to add the Administrative Analyst position will result in the improper classification of a future employee in this position.
