SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number#19987 to ADD one (1) Executive Secretary (J3T5)
position.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for subject position will come from costs covered by savings from vacant positions.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the recent retirement notification of the current Executive Secretary, effective December 1,
2005, the Director of Animal Services is requesting one (1) additional Executive Secretary position.
The department anticipates making a permanent appointment in mid-November. The requested
position will provide the current Executive Secretary an opportunity to train her replacement prior to
retiring.
CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Director of Animal Services would be impacted by inadequa administrative cleric suppo .
