Brentwood area. District III. DATE: November 15, 2005 PAGE: 2 Reasons for Recommendations and Background: The property was required to be dedicated to Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) by separate document as a condition of approval of Subdivision 8017. In order for Pulte Homes Corporation to construct the subdivision the District required they provide fee title for access and maintenance rights to the Dry Creek facilities located in Subdivision 8017. On October 1, 2002, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors adopted the City of Brentwood's Environmental Impact Report [SCH 9113070] to address the District's necessary realproperty transactions associated with the project as noted on the final map of Subdivision 8017, Book 390 of Maps, Pages 27 and 29. These offers of dedication to the District are part of the conditions of approval of Subdivision 8017 in order to provide access for maintenance purposes to the Dry Creek facility. Consequences of Neeative Action Negative action would require us to purchase the property from Pulte Home Corporation.
