RECOMMENDED ACTION: ACCEPT and file Housing Authority's Semi-Annual Labor Standards Enforcement Report, HUD form 4710 for the agency's contracting activity during the period of April 1 to September 30, 2005. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND This report is provided to the Board of Commissioners to provide background on the Housing Authority's compliance with requirements for reporting contracting activity related to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Capital Grant Fund (CFP) expenditures for public housing. The report documents Housing Authority contracting activity utilizing CFP funding, the Prevailing Wage Decision attached to each construction contract, and the dollar amount of the contracts for the reporting period. Additionally, the report documents complaints or actions taken against contractors during the reporting period. This reporting period, April 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005, included 22 prime contracts, with a total value of $1,426,536.00. There were no complaints received against contractors, and no corrective actions were required during the reporting period.
